原色日本の美術 - Primary Colors of Japanese Art, Volume 19, 1967
The Japanese book series Genshoku Nihon no Bijutsu (translated as Primary Colours of Japanese Art) was published by Shogakkan in Tokyo between 1966 and 1972. This extensive 30-volume series offers a comprehensive exploration of Japanese art, with each volume dedicated to a specific subject, such as ancient art, temples, sculptures, and various art forms like pottery and calligraphy.
This specific book volume focuses on Japanese ceramics. We love this book for its large size and graphic presence, even featuring it heavily in our photoshoots. The slip case is as beautiful as the book itself.
Condition
Hardcover in slipcase, both in great condition. The slip cover has aged with beautiful patina. Black and white and color images, text in Japanese.
Dimensions
